As the University closes for the celebration of Christmas and New Year festivities this week, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Aloysius-Michaels Okolie has sent out his season’s greetings to the staff, students and the University community.
In a message made available to ESUT Monitor, the Vice Chancellor wished the University community a Christmas filled with warmth and joy and a New Year brimming with new opportunities.
“Wishing you a Christmas filled with warmth and love and brimming with new opportunities and joy,” he said.
The staff are looking forward to a bright and cheerful three-week break as they retire to their homes and villages to celebrate the Yuletide season with their beloved ones.
Three weeks hiatus will no doubt enable the staff to “recharge their batteries”, be refreshed and more energized for the works ahead in the new year.
ESUT staff, both academic and non-academic, have been commended for imbibing the new rules and policies introduced by the management with regards to punctuality to work and exhibition of high sense of probity in their offices.
The University will be on break from 21st December, 2023 to 8th January, 2024.
