202/2024 ESUT Matriculation holds in January

The 2023/2024 matriculation of new students in the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, will hold in January 2024, ESUT Monitor has scooped.
ESUT Registrar, Mr Ambrose Ugwu told our reporters in his office on Thursday that the management is working round the clock to ensure that the matriculation for the new intakes is held in the 3rd week of next month.
He explained why the event could not hold earlier this month as the management initially planned.
“Formerly we scheduled that we were going to have it on December 8 but we noticed that with the status of admission, we can’t meet up with that date. Again, JAMB insists that we send the names of those to be matriculated two weeks before the date.
“We can’t give them notice now until we come back. The University is going to resume 8th January 2024, immediately we resume, we are going to bring out our calendar of event which will include when the semester is ending and exam timetable will be released.
“But I am sure matriculation will come up in or before 3rd week of January.
