2024/2025 Admission: ESUT Announces Sale of Form for Post UTME Screening, Cut-off Mark

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has announced sale of application forms for its admission-seeking candidates as well as cut-off marks for the 2024/2025 academic session.
In an advertorial released by the university and made available to Esut monitor, the sale of form will commence on Monday 19th August and end on Friday20th September, 2024.
The screening exercise, the released added, will be done online with no physical present of the candidates required.
The release further added that the cut-off mark for the prospective ESUT candidates is 200 JAMB score for medical-related courses and law while 160 is the minimum mark for other courses. The Courses with 200 cut-off mark include Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing Sciences and Pharmacy.
“This is to inform all candidates who chose ESUT in the 2024 UTME and those and those who didn’t choose ESUT but now wish to apply, that there will be online screening of candidates for the admission. Please note candidates who now wish to change to ESUT should first apply to JAMB for change of institution.
“ESUT cut-off mark is 160 except for Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Sciences, Pharmacy and Law which is 200. The screening will be online and candidates are not required to appear for physical screening or aptitude test.
“The screening processing fee is two thousand naira (₦2, 000.00) only. Candidate will be notified of their admission status through text message/ESUT portal
The registration fee is two thousand naira (₦2, 000.00) and candidates are advised to visit ESUT portal at portal.esut.edu.ng to fill their application forms. Online registration starts on Monday 19th August 2024 and end on Friday 20th September 2024. The portal closes on Friday 20th September,” the release said.
Students who are awaiting their May/June 2024 WAEC, NECO and NABTEB results are eligible to apply for the Post UTME screening. However, the university warned that any of the above-named results released later than 30th September, 2024 will not be accepted.
It further admonished that inconsistency in name will not be accommodated which could lead to disqualification. “Candidate’s names on their O’Level certificates and UTME results and other registration documents must be the same,” the university warned.
ESUT will be offering admission to prospective candidates into 65 regular programmes in the 2024/2025 Academic session across 12 faculties.
The new academic session will commence on October 8, 2024.
