Organisation for Women in Science For Developing World Holds Seminar in ESUT

In her efforts to forester a healthy work environment between teachers and the students, a Non-governmental Organisation, NGO, the Organization for Women in Science Developing World, (OSWD) is organising a one-day seminar for staff and students of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT.
The Seminar is scheduled to hold on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Prof Julius Onah Auditorium, ESUT main Campus, Agbani starting from 11am.
Themed: “Staff-student Relationship in Tertiary Institutions” it will feature Ven. Emeka Ezeji as Guest Speaker while OWSD President, ESUT, Professor Harmony Nwobodo-Nzeribe will be the host.
Speaking on the essence of the seminar, the Chairman, Local Organising Committee, Dr Nkem Umerah, said the seminar is organised to enhance effective staff-student relationship in ESUT which is critical in every academic environment.
“The workshop will promote healthy communication between the lecturers and the students, enhance teaching and learning and promote academic ambiance.
“OWSD has branches in every university in the country and, at least, once every year, we organise seminar to address issues affecting the system and society,” she said.
