Yuletide Celebrations: ESUT VC Lauds Staff On Dedication, Calls For Renewed Vigour To Achieve More

The Voice Chancellor, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, Professor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie has lauded the staff of the university for their commitment, dedication and forthrightness in the discharge of their duties in the outgoing year.

The Vice Chancellor gave the commendation in his Christmas and New Year message to the university community on Tuesday.

While extolling the defining vitures that have held the university staff together in achieving its targeted aspirations in the outgoing year, the VC who wished the staff to celebrate the season with love and joy, called for a renewed vigour to face next year’s challenges and objectives

“As we approach the end of another year, I wish to take a moment to extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to each and every one of you. The holiday season is a time for reflection, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose, and it is with great appreciation that I acknowledge the dedication and hard work you have all contributed to our university this year.

“Together, we have faced various challenges and celebrated numerous successes. Your commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community service has further solidified ESUT’s reputation as a leading institution of higher learning. It is through your collaborative efforts that we continue to pave the way for future generations, embodying the values that define our university.

“As we gather with friends and family during this festive season, I encourage you to take the time to rest and rejuvenate, reflecting on our shared accomplishments and looking forward to what lies ahead. May this season bring you joy, peace, and the inspiration to pursue new heights in the coming year.

“Let us all come together to celebrate not only our individual achievements but also the collective spirit that makes ESUT a vibrant and dynamic community. I look forward to continuing our journey together in the New Year, with renewed energy and a shared commitment to excellence.

“Wishing you all a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year,” the Voice Chancellor said.

It could be recalled that staff and students of ESUT on Friday, December 20, 2024 embarked on a three-week break to mark the Christmas and New Year festivities.

The University will reopen for full academic activities on Monday, January 6, 2025.
