Agbani – The Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, has began offering admission into four of its new courses.

This was contained in a circular issued by the Registrar of the university, Mr Ambrose Ugwu and made available to ESUT Monitor.

According the the statement, the new programmes approved for the university by the National Universities Commission, NUC, include: Radiography, Public Health, Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Biomedical Engineering.

The admission process which commenced on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 ends on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Candidates who are eligible to apply for admission are expected to have scored 200 or above for Radiography and Public Health, while

Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Biomedical Engineering should have a scored 180 or above in their last JAMB.

Candidates are also expected to have selected ESUT as their choice of institution or changed to ESUT

Prospective candidates already offered admission into current 100 level programmes in ESUT can also apply by buying redeployment forms from portal.esut.edu.ng.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO NEWLY APPROVED COURSES

Enugu State University of Science and Technology invites applications for admission into the underlisted courses which were newly approved for the University by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

The courses are:
(a) Radiography
(b) Public Health
(c) Human Nutrition and Dietetics and
(d) Biomedical Engineering

Eligibility to Apply
To be eligible to apply, candidates must have met the following conditions:

1. Scored 200 and above in the 2024 UTME for Radiography and Public Health, or scored 180 and above for Human Nutrition/Dietetics and Biomedical Engineering respectively.
2. Taken Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their subjects in the 2024 UTME examination.
3. Selected ESUT or changed to ESUT as their most preferred and/or First choice institution in the 2024 UTME but not yet offered admission into the regular undergraduate academic programmes for 2024/2025 academic year.

Procedure for Admission
Eligible candidates must have:

1. Changed their choice of course to any of the newly approved courses listed above on JAMB CAPS. Applications for admission into courses not listed above will not be processed.
2. Registered for ESUT Post-UTME screening and paid the application fee of Two Thousand naira only (₦2,000.00) by generating an invoice from ESUT portal, portal.esut.edu.ng and making payment in any commercial bank or by online payment. Candidates who had previously registered for ESUT Post-UTME 2024 screening do not need to register again.
3. Met the University minimum SSCE O’ level entry requirements which they must have uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
   NB: Those already offered admission into current 100 level programmes in ESUT can also apply by buying redeployment forms from portal.esut.edu.ng.

Closing date: This offer will start from Wednesday 22nd January, 2025 and end on Wednesday 29th January, 2025.
