Enugu – The Enugu State Governor, Barr Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has reiterated that his commitment in supporting the first state university in Nigeria, ESUT, is irrevocable.

The Governor made the statement recently adding that he would continue to support the Premier State University in the country to achieve its glory.

“As I have always said, my great commitment to support ESUT is irrevocable, and ESUT would continue to soar to greater heights. This is a promise.

“Tomorrow is indeed here.” the Gov. said.

It could be recalled that the State Government under the leadership of His Excellency has continued to show sustained support in providing the needed infrastructure in repositioning the institution.

The Governor has spent over N250  million recently in ensuring that the university’s programmes are fully accredited.

The Governor has also released over a billion naira in providing infrastructure at the ESUT College of Medicine as well as provision of water.
