By Ani Ruth

Mr Collins Onuegbu has advised Ndigbo to go back to their villages to support them to grow.

Mr Onuegbu, who is the Chairman, Signal Alliance Technology Holding, made the call on Friday at the monthly series of “Nkata Umu ibe”, at the Centre for Memories, Enugu where he was the speaker.

Speaking on the topic “Rethinking Igbo Competitiveness in a Digital Age”, for the April edition, the Guest Speaker anchored his speech on the Igbo dictum “Igwebuike” emphasised that when Ndigbo go back to the village, through their little support, the villages will grow and develop.

“The Igbo people should go back to their villages and support their growth, they should support their villages to grow, at times, progress comes through small chumps before spreading. Community growth is a collective efforts but we can start individually in our small enclaves and things will work out,” he said.

Students who attended the programme expressed immense joy and saw the need for collaboration in promoting unity and growth not just within their educational surrounding but also in their various communities.
