Udenu Council Chairman, Aka Eze Boosts Security With 20 New Motorcycles

In a proactive move to tackle the rising insecurity and kidnapping incidents in Udenu, the Executive Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Aka Eze Aka, has delivered 20 brand new Honda motorcycles to the local security patrol team. This bold gesture is aimed at strengthening security presence across the area and ensuring that residents can sleep with peace of mind.

This intervention comes amid increasing reports of security lapses, particularly kidnapping cases around the Iyi Nzu axis in Ezimo and Obollo-Etiti, where a resident, Mr. Obule from Iheakpu Obollo-Eke, was reportedly attacked by kidnappers.

Hon. Aka, known for his responsive leadership, wasted no time in addressing the situation by equipping the security team with these motorcycles. The patrol units will be strategically deployed across the 10 political wards in Udenu to ensure greater coverage and faster response times.

Speaking during the handover, the Chairman charged the security operatives to redouble their efforts in curbing crime. He also appealed to the people of Udenu to support the security agencies by providing timely and useful information, emphasizing that “security is everyone’s business.”

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Hon. Aka Eze Aka has taken decisive steps to enhance local security. He had previously inaugurated various security gadgets and initiatives aimed at safeguarding lives and property across the LGA.

This latest effort reinforces his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all Udenu residents.
