Staff and students of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT will embark on two weeks break to celebrate this year’s Christmas and New Year festivities.

ESUT Monitor can authoritatively report that the university will vacate for the yuletide season on Friday, December 19, 2025.

According to the 2025/2026 academic calendar of the university, staff and students are expected to vacate the university on Friday 19, 2025 and return on Friday, January 2, 2026

ESUT Monitor gathered that while the vacation applies to all staff, however, those on essential duties – medical and security personnel – would be exempted.

The 2025/2026 first semester which started on October 13, 2025 is expected to end in March 2026.
