TThe leadership of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Student Union Government (SUG) were on Thursday honoured for their outstanding leadership in the ivory tower. The Acting president, Nwodo Faustina Chinazaram and some of the SUG senators of the 16th parliament: Ogbu Michael and Isaac Nwobodo received recognition at the Applied Biology and Biotechnology dinner night, on Wednesday at the Ibrahim K. Idris Event Centre, Enugu
The SUG Acting president, received Visionary Leader Award, the SUG senate spokesman, Sen. Ogbu Michael also was honoured with “Exceptional leadership legacy” award while the Senate president, Nwobodo Isaac was also a recipient.
Com. Nwodo and the SUG senators also presented awards to other winners at the ABB dinner night. Another prominent senator Udeh Chiamaka Flawless was also honoured.
ESUT Monitor reports that the dinner night which started by 11:00 pm featured eye-catching programmes and performance such as dancing, games and other entertaining presentations.
The Applied Biology and Biotechnology (ABB) Award Night was organised by the students of the department to recognise the impact the chosen individual are making for the welfare of the students and general good of ESUT.
Meanwhile, ESUT Monitor also gather that the Faculty of Law students also had their Dinner night celebration on Friday to mark the end of the 2024/2025 academic session.
