ESUT Receives TETFund Facilities to Equip Career Services Directorate

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund, Friday, delivered office facilities to furnish the Career Services Directorate of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT.

ESUT Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, led other management team members to take inspection of the facilities while the Director Of TETFund, ESUT, Dr. Onyekachi Egwuagu conducted the handover.

Speaking during the inspection, Prof OKolie thanked TETFund for always coming to the aid of the university by providing the needed critical infrastructure for academic excellence

He pledged that the items would be judiciously deployed to enhance work efficiency at the Career Services Directorate, stressing that his administration would not relent in attracting basic infrastructure in the University through the TETFund interventions.

Also in his remarks at the handover ceremony, the Chairman, Board of Directors, ESUT Career Services, Professor Chike Nwoha, stated that the facilities would improve work efficiency in the Directorate, adding that the new facilities, would enable students of the University benefit maximally from the services of the Directorate.

Professor Nwoha, who is equally the Deputy Vice Chancellor of ESUT, thanked the Vice Chancellor for always being on his toes to secure interventions for the University.

In her vote-of-thanks, the Director of Career Services, ESUT, Professor George-Uzoamaka Okafor, thanked TETFund, and ESUT Management for the facilities, pledging that they would be deployed for effectively.

According to ESUT Director of TETFund Services, Dr. Onyekachi Egwuagu, the items delivered included: one 50″ Flat Screen HD Smart Hisense TV ; one Sharp Photocopier 20M24L Monochrome Photocopier ; two HP Pavilion Laptop; six all-in-One HP Desktop Computer ;
one Interactive Smart Whiteboard Flat Screen 86″ with Operating System; one HP LaserJet Printer (Black & White.)

Others were one Rechargeable Public Address System, Wireless Microphones, USB Port & FM Radio;
one Universal 5G WiFi Router with Power Bank and Subscription; six Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS); four 112L Single Door Refrigerator; three Hisense 1HP Fast Cooling Split Air Conditioner with Installation Kits; two CWAY Water Dispenser with Fridge & Freezer; one DSTV Decoder with Accessories.

The furniture components were: Two 1.6m Executive Table complete with extension and drawer box; two High back kidney ergonomic swivel chair; four Mid-back ergonomic swivel chair; 12 C-Lex low back visitor’s chair; four 1.2m Executive office table; four drawer file cabinet; 70 Steel frame seminar chair writing pad ; two 4-seater sofa with quilted leather and centre table.

The rest were three seater steel framed armchairs; two Library bookshelf, double sided, 2-in-1 model; one Venetian window blinds; and 10 delegates conference table and chairs.
