By Amaechi Agbo

Seven Programmes in the Enugu State University of Science and Technology ESUT including Law, Quantity Surveying, Education Physics and four others have gained full accreditation.

This cheering news was delivered by the National Universities Commission, NUC in a letter dated April 30th, addressed to the Vice Chancellor ESUT, Professor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie confirming the full accreditation status of the seven Programmes.

Other Programmes include Education Computer Science, Agricultural Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Applied Microbiology as well as M.Sc in Business Administration

The full Accreditation status marks a significant mileage in the university as the management aspires to ensure that all programmes in the institution attain full accreditation.

“We are grateful to the management team, Deans and HODs and all those who were involved in achieving this remarkable feat. For a while we have battled with Law accreditation and we have achieved it.

“We have attained more than 98% accreditation status for all our programmes and the mission is to reach the 100% mark. We want all our programmes to have full accreditation even as we bring in new ones. We will not relent on this,” the Vice Chancellor, Professor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie told ESUT Monitor on Tuesday

ESUT currently runs more than 176 undergraduate programmes across 14 faculties
