ESUT compound is very large that we engage our staff and labourers in the bid to sustain it and keep it healthy.

“Let me also at this point remind you that management is planning to visit Lagos to strengthen the Branch. ESUT Lagos Alumni Branch used to be the strongest branch among others with resources.

“One of the Executive Directors of MTN is supposed to be a member. She brokered the construction of Enugu-Onitsha Expressway and there is need to bring her in. I visited her sometime ago and there is need for us to do a follow up. As a management, we cannot conclude our assignment in ESUT without visiting Lagos Branch to strengthen it. We have gone to Port Hartcourt, planned to go to Owerri but it didn’t hold.

“Let me emphasis that no university will make appreciable impact without engaging with the alumni association. On a good day, we shall have Alumni Night where we will sit together to merry and plan for our university,” the VC said.

It could be recalled that the management recently created the Directorate of Municipality with a mandate to ensure the neatness of the University, improve on its beautification and topographic view and enhance effective sanitation.
