Sen. Osita Ngwu to Deliver Faculty of Physical Sciences’ Maiden Int’l Conference Keynote Address

The senator representing Enugu West at the 10th National Assembly, Senator Osita Ngwu will deliver the Keynote Address at the maiden Faculty of Physical Sciences – Enugu State University of Science And Technology (ESUT) – International Conference holding next month

The three-day global conference will commence on Tuesday 28 through Thursday, 30th October, 2025.

Anchored on the theme: “The Triple Helix Revolution: Catalysing Innovation, Research, Enterprise for a Future-Ready Society”, the conference will bring scholars, researchers, diplomats and interested participants across the world together to cross-fertilize ideas on collaboration, knowledge economy as well as innovation in building headliner and sustainable atmosphere

The conference will hold at the Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah Auditorium, ESUT, Agbani commencing by 9am each day.

The Triple Helix Revolution refers to the evolving and increasingly integrated interactions between academia, industry, and government to foster innovation and economic growth.

While Senator Ngwu will deliver the Keynote Address at the Conference, other notable speakers include: Prof Kenneth Oforkansi of Alexander von Humboldt Scholar, Germany, Prof Ayodele Ajayi, Head, Department of Agrictural and Environmental Engineering, Federal University of technology, Akure; the Director-General, National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion, Dr. Obiageli Amadiobi, among others.

The Maiden Faculty of Physical Sciences International Conference will by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof Gabriel Ugwu while the ESUT Vice-Chancellor, Prof Aloyisus-Michaels Okolie is the Chief Host. Dr Chinyere Onyeabor is the Chairman, Planning Committee

The Kenoye Speaker graduated from ESUT in 2001 where he bagged a Bachelor of Engineering. He obtained a Masters of Business Administration MBA at University Roehampton, London, Business School in 2016. He is a member of various professional bodies, Nigerian Society of Engineers NSE, Nigerian Mechanical Engineers Association NMEA and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria COREN.
