The Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, has announced date for the commencement of 2025/2026 First Semester examinations as well as deadline for students registration and verification.

Announcing the dates in a circular issued on Wednesday, January 14 and signed by the University Registrar, Mr Ambrose Ùgwù, the University disclosed that the first semester examinations will start on Monday, March 2, 2026 while the deadline for students’ registration and verification by both new and returning students is on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

“Following a report from the task force on Reglstration of students, deadline for the registration was extended to 16th January, 2026.

“Management has, due to several requests, extended the closure of portal for registration to Tuesday, 20th January, 2026, for both fresh and continuing students, after which Management would take necessary action against defaulting student, which may include but not limited to losing one (1) year and applying for re-admission for 2026/2027 academic year.

“The first semester examinations (is) scheduled to commence on Monday, 2nd March, 2026,” the memo said.

The statement added that lecturers will undergo training on ICT to facilitate upload of result and releasing of sessional results of students on Wednesday, 21st January, 2026 for Agbani Campus and Friday, 23rd January, 2026 for ESUT College of Medicine, Parklane, Enugu.

The circular directed Deans, Directors and HODs to ensure full compliance and enjoined students to make hair while the sun is shining

The 2025/2026 first semester academic programme is expected to end in March.
