ENUGU — The Enugu State Council of Presidents-General of Town Unions has endorsed Hon. Chimaobi Sam Atu for a second term to represent Enugu North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was made during a visit to Hon. Atu by the leadership of the Council, led by Comr. Arinze Nnia Ogbodo.

Speaking on behalf of the Council, Comr. Ogbodo stated that the reason for the visit was to endorse Hon. Atu. He cited that in just one term, Hon. Atu’s performance has been visible, with impactful and people-centered infrastructural development across Enugu North and South Federal Constituency.

Hon.Atu while appreciating them stated that the visit was “deepened by grassroots support, engagement, and endorsement” ahead of the 2027 elections.

Hon. Atu expressed gratitude to the Council and all President-Generals for the trust reposed in his political mandate.

“I appreciate this overwhelming vote of confidence. However, I reminded the Council that our work is far from finished,” he said.
“The trust reposed in us is a call to even greater service. My vision and leadership goals remain committed to delivering quality representation, improving the lives of our people, and ensuring that the voices of Enugu North and South Federal Constituency continue to resonate where decisions are made.”

Furthermore, Hon. Atu visited Pottery, Iva Valley, Enugu, to inspect solar-powered street lights he recently installed in the community.

He also met with the dedicated women coordinators of the Atu Enugu Political Movement.

“It was a heartwarming interaction and an opportunity to personally thank these remarkable women for their unwavering support, commitment, and sacrifices since the beginning of this journey,” he stated. “Their resilience and belief in our shared vision continue to inspire us to do more.”

“To the good people of Enugu North and South Federal Constituency, your trust remains our greatest motivation,” Hon. Atu added.
