By Amaechi Agbo

Ebeano City, Enugu — The management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has announced that Prof. Chukwudi Amunnadi will deliver the institution’s 58th professorial Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, July 9, 2026

The landmark academic exercise follows on the heels of the 57th inaugural lecture delivered earlier this month by former Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Charles Eze.

Prof. Amunnadi, a distinguished scholar from the Department of Religion and Human Relations at ESUT, will step to the podium to showcase his extensive research and academic contributions.

Anchored on the topic “Human Values and Moral Formation: A Transformational Panacea for Nation Building,” the event will be held at the Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah Auditorium ESUT, Ebeano City Enugu, starting from 11 am

Mr Amunnadi, a Professor of Religion and Society, is expected to draw heavy attendance from academics, policymakers, students, and religious leaders.

According to University leadership, inaugural lectures at ESUT serve as a crucial bridge linking institutional research with practical national development. The university management emphasizes that these lectures are not merely academic exercises but vital calls to action for policymakers and community leaders to engage with new ideas designed to solve real-world problems.

Members of the public, university alumni, and the general academic community are cordially invited to attend
